Your little Despicable Me fans will be ecstatic over these fun minion snack holders made with pool noodles! They hold one (or a couple) fruit skewers (bananas!) and are perfect for birthday party centerpieces or just for fun
Materials:
Yellow Pool Noodle
Blue Painters Tape
Black Sharpie Marker (or black tape)
Googly Eyes
Black and Gray Yarn (optional)
Scissors
Hot Glue Gun
First you will want to cut your pool noodle in to about 4 inch sections. Use a serrated bread knife. The pool noodle cuts like butter!
Next you will use the painters tape and wrap it around the bottom to make the overalls.
Here is where I made things a little more complicated than they needed to be…. I glue a small googly eye onto the BACK of a big googly eye and hot glued gray yarn around the edges of the large eye. Save yourself the trouble and just glue the big googly eyes onto the noodle LOL!
Use the black sharpie (or black tape) to draw on the goggle strap and the mouth. Don’t forget the buttons to the overalls as well! Stuff and glue strands of black yarn hair down the middle of the noodle.
Lastly, stick skewered bananas down the middle! You will probably want to use a small marshmallow (or something) on the bottom to stop the bananas from sliding down the skewer like mine did
I didn’t mean for them to actually touch the hair/noodle. But you get the idea!

Have fun creating your Minion snack holders!
